  • Acquired brain & spinal cord injuries

  • Neurological conditions (e.g. Parkinson’s & Alzheimer’s Diseases, MND, Multiple Sclerosis, stroke, cerebral palsy)

Occupational therapy

Our occupational therapists can support you to become more independent with lots of different areas of life including:

  • Daily living tasks and self-care at home

  • Being more able to access to your community

  • Being more social

  • Exploring possibilities for housing

  • Driving

  • Making modifications to your home

  • Choosing assistive technology

Therapy assistance

Our therapists can develop a therapy program that an allied health assistant can work with you to implement. In some cases we can also show your existing support workers how they can support you with your therapy program.

Either of these options can help to make the most of your NDIS funding.

Allied health assistants are required to hold certain qualifications and must practice under the guidance of a physiotherapist. Many are students of allied health programs (e.g. physiotherapy, osteopathy, speech pathology, occupational therapy etc.).
